There is a place nestled amongst the ancient ruins of Alanya castle and its defenses that is set apart from the madness of modern life.
This little haven allows its guests to enjoy a quiet and peaceful moment in the rooms and grounds of a sensitively and tastefully renovated historical villa which enjoys a full panoramic view over the glistening turquoise ocean and Alanya’s vibrant harbour.
You won’t be subjected to any crazy beating music, there are no over enthusiastic waiters clammering for your attention. You are left to enjoy the peace, to enjoy your chosen company and make the most of having a beautiful front seat at one of natures most stunning panoramas.
Add some excellent food and great service and you will have found your little piece of paradise.
The Centauera Boutique Hotel is one of a kind.
Its not part of a chain, it is one man’s dream.
Koray, the owner, always wanted to open such a place and has worked his way through the restaurants, hotel and food outlets in London and in Europe learning his trade.
He has absorbed information and used his experiences of being a foreigner in other countries to influence the concept of his boutique hotel. This has created a place which is very different from those around him. He has used the best ideas from a range different cultures with their differing values and has maintained a clear vision as he has developed this love of his life.
In doing so he has given countless guests the pleasure of enjoying a unique experience of first class facilities and service in an ancient building located in an area steeped in history.
We love the fact that the Centauera is enjoyed by locals, Turkish holiday makers and foreigners from across the globe and is a refreshing change for those tedious of large hotel chains and modern tourist conveyor belts.
You may be right in the heart of the city and only a stones throw from the nightclubs and tourist madness but you really would not know it.
The decor is rustic and in keeping with the history and architecture of the hotel.
Furniture and ornaments have been tastefully selected and soft fabric and luxurious attention to detail make you feel cosy and comfortable.
Then you are treated to a menu of fresh, natural ingredients hand made to order. The music will be retro and calming, expect some tracks you haven’t heard for years along with the best of more recent music.
There are five double rooms, all with en-suite facilities. The dining room has a balcony overlooking the hotels garden and the harbour where you can enjoy al-fresco dining.
There is free WIFI and breakfast is included in the price of an overnight stay.
There you have the Centauera Boutique Hotel.
If our description hasn’t made you want to visit – then maybe the fact that they have maintained Booking.com and Trip Adviser scores of 9.5 – 9.8 consistently over the past three years will tell you what you can expect.
Such high scores are incredibly difficult to achieve let along maintain and the only matters which have prevented 10/10 scores happen to be issues that are not matters in the direct control of the owner and even those issues have been taken on board.
You do not have to be resident to enjoy the restaurant
This place is ideal for breakfasts, lunches and evening meals.
It is a perfect treat for an occasional overnight stay in Alanya for an anniversary or special celebration.
If you are visiting Alanya then we can offer the highest recommendation for the hotel and be 100% sure you will be well looked after by the host and his wife.
